Axus Decor Razor-31 Mid to High Tack Tape - 24mm x 40m

Tired of masking tape that lifts midway through a job or leaves behind a stubborn, gluey mess when you finally pull it? Here at Wigley DIY, we know precision matters, which is why we supply the Axus Decor Razor-31 Mid to High Tack Tape 24mm x 40m. This lime green tape is designed for interior and exterior use, sticking securely to most surfaces including carpet, walls, wood, metal, and glass, and it is even excellent for holding dust sheets in place. Made from sustainable paper sources, it leaves clean, straight lines without paint bleed and can be left on for up to 31 days, leaving no residue on removal.

Before application, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, oil, or any other contaminants, and avoid applying to recently painted surfaces or surfaces with loose paint. To apply, gently unroll from the roll without stretching or tearing, and apply smoothly and firmly onto the surface. Use a smoothing tool or your fingers to press down the edges firmly to prevent paint bleed, then apply paint without overloading the tape with excessive paint. Always test a small inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility and adhesion.

When you are finished, allow the paint to dry before removing the tape slowly and carefully at a 45-degree angle to the surface. Pull the tape back on itself in a smooth, continuous motion to minimise the risk of tearing or paint damage. If any resistance is felt, stop and use a utility knife to carefully score along the edge of the tape to prevent damage to the painted surface, and dispose of responsibly. In the unlikely event of adhesive residue remaining, gently wipe it away with a clean, damp cloth or use an appropriate adhesive remover.

While this tape has a temperature rating of up to 100 degrees Celsius and is designed to be left on for up to 31 days, humidity, temperature, and the type of paint used could potentially reduce the optimal duration. Check the condition periodically and remove promptly if signs of adhesive residue or difficulty are observed, avoiding temperatures exceeding this limit. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, avoiding humid or damp conditions that may affect its adhesive properties.
