It is designed for smooth, dry, and unsealed wooden surfaces, as well as antiques and pre-finished furniture after a quick compatibility check. Whether you are prepping timber directly or applying it over Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer, this 400g tin delivers a lasting satin finish with minimal effort.
Simply work the wax thoroughly into the grain using a lint-free cloth or 0000 Steel Wool, let it dry rapidly, and buff to your desired sheen with a clean soft cloth. You can build up hardness and shine with further applications. Note that the wax will soften and liquify above 20°C—simply replace the lid and store in a cool place to return it to its original state—and it is not recommended for areas that come into contact with water.
