Based on the best-selling Viper range, this 95mm diameter high-precision chuck features a fully enclosed body that keeps out dust and chips to protect the internal gear mechanism. It is ideal if you already own Supernova, G3 Nova, Robert Sorby Patriot, Record Power SC3, or Record Power SC4 chucks, as its jaw mounting is fully compatible with them, letting you continue using your existing jaws (note that Supernova, G3 Nova, Robert Sorby Patriot, Record Power SC3, and Record Power SC4 require N3JS Screws).

Engineered for simple one-handed operation via an 8mm square drive, this self-centring scroll chuck includes locking screws so you can safely use it on a lathe with reverse direction when mounted directly onto an M33 x 3.5 spindle thread conforming to DIN800 Standard or Jet Type T38 design. The standard dovetail jaws let you grip workpieces both internally and externally, with a wood screw included for initial bowl blank mounting.
