This long reach T-handle is specifically designed to solve that problem, giving you the extra clearance needed to tighten and loosen your chuck safely and comfortably on bigger projects without scraping your knuckles.
This extended handle is longer than the one originally supplied with the chuck and is of benefit to people working on larger diameter bowls. It will clear bowls of up to 14'' diameter when used with the Viper2, 15" diameter when used with the Viper3, and 15" diameter when used with the Nexus3. It is fully compatible with Viper2, Viper3, Nexus3 chucks plus other chucks with 8mm square drive end.
