Chestnut Products Liming Wax - 225ml

Transform your next woodworking project with Wigley DIY and get that classic, high-contrast limed finish with minimum fuss. Whether you are working on a custom piece of furniture or renovating open-grained timbers like oak and ash, Chestnut Products Liming Wax gives you a brilliant white look that really makes the grain pop. It is dead easy to apply, spreading across the whole surface before you wipe it off after a few minutes, leaving the pigment trapped right where you want it for a striking, professional result every time.

Because the wax acts mainly as a carrier for the white pigment, you will need to lock it in with an overcoat to keep it clean and bright, with finishing options like WoodWax 22, Microcrystalline Wax, Finishing Oil or Hard Wax Oil doing the job. For an even more dramatic effect, try opening up the grain with a liming brush first, or lay down a stain or Ebonising Lacquer before you start.
