Chestnut Products Nyweb - Standard Green (400g) - Single

When you need to get into awkward spaces on timber projects without rounding off sharp details, Wigley DIY recommends Chestnut Products Nyweb Standard Green. This long-lasting and economical non-woven nylon webbing features an abrasive embedded right into the material, giving you an exactly defined cut every time you work. As the web wears away during use, fresh abrasive is continually exposed to maintain cutting performance.

Measuring approx 15 x 21cm, this flexible pad can be easily moulded to fit almost any shape. It can be used wet or dry, and when it gets clogged with dust, you simply beat it against a suitable surface or use a vacuum cleaner to clean it out.

Features

• Green pads are 400 grit
• Red pads are 600 grit
• Orange pads are 1000 grit
• White pads do not contain an abrasive and are thus technically non-abrasive, but the very texture of plod gives them an incredibly fine – but immeasurable – cut
• Extremely flexible, able to be moulded to pretty much any shape to get into all those awkward spaces and to not remove any sharp features
• As the web wears away, fresh abrasive is exposed to ensure a sharp cut every time
• Can be cleaned when clogged with dust by simply beating it against a suitable surface or using a vacuum cleaner
• Can be used wet or dry
• Orange and White are particularly useful for the application of waxes, ensuring a smooth, even coat
