ECO Wedge XT Solar Motion Welcome Light SS9849

Stop messing about with wiring and get straight to mounting a reliable welcome light with the ECO Wedge XT Solar Motion Welcome Light SS9849 from The Solar Centre. Designed specifically to work in UK winter conditions, this self-contained unit installs in minutes with no DIY skills required, making it a straightforward job for any tradesperson or DIYer wanting to guide visitors to a door after dark using only the power of the sun. At just 0.15 kg and measuring (H)113mm (W)85mm (D)50mm, it packs an IP64 waterproof rating to withstand all the elements in exposed locations.

Once you turn it on using the supplied activation pin, it operates fully automatic. During the day, the sun charges the battery. As soon as it gets dark, the motion sensor starts detecting movement up to 3 metres away, powering 20 natural white SMD bulbs that turn off automatically after motion stops. Built-in Power Saving Technology lets you maximise brightness in the summer or use the optional Powersaving mode to double the runtime on shorter days, delivering up to 250 activations a night. In the morning, it turns off automatically to charge for the night ahead.
