Save hours of scraping on your next restoration project with Wigley DIY. Whether you are stripping stubborn varnish from vintage furniture or clearing away layers of accumulated gloss, Polycell Maximum Strength Paint Stripper cuts right through the backlog without damaging the wood underneath. Tradespeople and serious DIYers rely on this powerful solvent to strip up to 12 coats of paint in a single application, working from just 20 minutes so you can keep your job moving.
The thick, non-drip paste is simple to apply and safe to use, clinging cleanly to vertical surfaces. As the solvent works, it forces the old paint to blister and form a soft film that is easy to peel away. Once the job is done, the surface is completely water washable and ready for your next finish.
