Bedec Barn Paint (Satin) Black - 5L

When you need to restore or protect exterior surfaces around the house, farm, or factory, Wigley DIY recommends Bedec Barn Paint (Satin) Black 5L. Originally formulated for Essex barn restoration, this versatile acrylic system goes straight onto previously painted surfaces, even those coated with weathered bitumen, tar varnish, or creosote, as long as there are no loose powdery deposits. It delivers a tough, durable, flexible, and microporous protective coating with excellent colour retention that resists cracking, blistering, flaking, rot, and algal build-up against rain and severe weather.

You can apply two or three coats in one day, particularly in the summer months, for multi-surface applications on wood, plastic, concrete, weathered galvanised steel, brick, cladding, fences, gates, farm equipment, tanks, drainpipes, gutters, doors, and windows. It covers approximately 13-15 sq meters/litre per coat by brush or roller, dries in 2-4 hours, is recoatable after four hours at 18°C and 65% relative humidity, and fully hardens after one month.
