Bedec Barn Paint (Satin) Dark Green - 5L

Stop wasting time prepping stubborn exterior surfaces. At Wigley DIY, we know you need a coating that simply works, which is why we stock Bedec Barn Paint (Satin) Dark Green - 5L. Originally formulated for heritage restoration work on Essex barns, this tough, durable yet flexible micro porous protective acrylic system goes straight over previously painted surfaces—even those coated with weathered bitumen, tar varnish or creosote, as long as there are no loose powdery deposits. Apply two or three coats in one day, especially during the summer months, and protect everything from wood, plastic, concrete, weathered galvanised steel, brick and cladding to fences, gates, farm equipment, tanks, drainpipes, gutters, doors and windows.

You get a long lasting finish with excellent colour retention that resists cracking, blistering, flaking, rain, severe weather, rot and algal build-up. It covers approximately 13-15 sq meters/litre per coat when applied by brush or roller depending on the texture and porosity of the substrate. It is dry in 2-4 hours, normally recoatable after four hours at 18°C and 65% relative humidity, and fully hardened after one month. Just ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
