Secure a flawless, professional finish on your next project with Wigley DIY. Dulux Trade Undercoat in Dark Grey is the dependable solvent-based foundation designed specifically to team up with Dulux Trade High Gloss. Built for correctly prepared and primed interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces, this 2.5L trade formulation delivers exceptional gloss retention backed by a high sheen level and excellent opacity. Whether you are upgrading exterior joinery or tackling interior metalwork, it lays down smoothly with great flow to make your topcoat application effortless.

Getting trade-quality results is straightforward when you follow the right steps. Stir thoroughly before use, then apply just 1 coat of the appropriate coloured Dulux Trade Undercoat using a brush or roller only—spray application is not recommended for health and safety reasons with solvent-based paints. Allow a drying time of 2-6 hours, waiting a minimum of 6 hours before moving on to apply 1 or 2 coats of Dulux Trade High Gloss. If your project demands a second coat of the gloss finish, leave a minimum of 16 hours between coats. You can also thin the composition using white spirit 10 if required.
