When you need your exterior wood and metal to withstand the elements without cracking or staining, Wigley DIY recommends Dulux Weathershield Exterior Gloss Paint in Black. This 2.5L weatherproof paint film guarantees 10 year weather protection when surfaces are in good condition before application. Designed to minimise staining through mould resistance, it also stays flexible to resist cracking, ensuring your paintwork looks better for longer compared to conventional Dulux gloss paints.
Applying this paint requires a brush to achieve its beautiful high gloss finish. You will need to apply 2 coats, leaving 16 hours to dry between them, and ensure newly painted doors and windows are not closed until the paint is fully dry. Once finished, you can remove paint from the brush or roller with a cloth and then wash with water.
