Stop your exterior paintwork from cracking before it even starts with the Dulux Weathershield Quick Dry Undercoat in White. Built specifically for exterior wood, this flexible undercoat creates the ultimate resilient base for your top coat gloss or satin, locking in a guaranteed 10 year weather protection when used as a full Weathershield system. It takes the hassle out of exterior maintenance by drying to the touch in just 2 hours, keeping your project moving whether you are tackling a weekend DIY job or on the tools.
You can apply it smoothly with a brush, leaving 2-4 hours between coats. It covers up to 16m²/litre and requires 2 coats for the best finish. Clean up is straightforward once you have removed as much paint as possible from your brushes before washing with water. Just remember to leave newly painted doors and windows open until the paint is fully dry so they do not stick.
