Formulated specifically to handle extreme heat, this specialist 250ml spray gives trade professionals and DIYers a reliable way to protect metalwork against corrosion and abrasion. Its high-solids formulation delivers extra coverage compared to standard systems, while the thin coating ensures excellent heat transmission once cured.

Suitable for wood or multi-fuel stoves, gas coal/log effect fires, fireplaces, baskets, fire backs, barbecues, pipes, flues, brick, concrete, and render. Most substrates including steel and its alloys can be coated successfully, though new substrates should be checked individually for suitability. The paint is colour fast up to 650°C when allowed to cure for 24 hours. Note that this product contains free silicone, so precautions should be taken to isolate its processing from other paint systems.
