Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus - Pine - 1L

When you need a reliable foundation for exterior timber, Wigley DIY recommends Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus in Pine. This solvent-borne, low build, semi-transparent woodstain protects exterior softwood and hardwood substrates, including cladding, fascias, soffits, rough sawn timber, and fencing. It is also ideal for components subject to high levels of wear and abrasion, such as garden furniture, handrails, and exterior decking.

Use it as a base stain before applying higher build finishes like Cetol Filter 7 plus or Cetol THB plus on smooth planed exterior joinery. Note that it should not be used alone as a finish for hardwood timbers other than decking. The highly translucent formula brings out the beauty of the woodgrain while offering a microporous, water-repellent barrier that resists UV radiation, peeling, cracking, mould, and algae.
