Clear out stubborn overgrowth and reclaim neglected plots without reaching for the glyphosate. Vitax SBK Brushwood Killer is a heavy-duty, foliar-acting soluble concentrate designed for tradespeople and competent DIYers tackling tough, established weeds like nettles, docks, thistles, brambles, broom, gorse, and hardwood saplings. Rather than scorching the surface, it targets weeds right down to their roots to stop stubborn re-growth in its tracks. It is specifically formulated to leave your lawn grass unharmed while clearing out non-crop areas, and it can even be used to treat unwanted tree stumps during the colder months.

For the best results, apply when the soil is moist and weeds are actively growing from May to October, targeting woody weeds specifically between June and August. If you are treating tree stumps, make sure to avoid application during April, May or June when the sap is rising. Always dilute the concentrate as per product instructions, keep it well away from cultivated plants, and do not apply during drought or freezing conditions. A repeat treatment can be applied after six weeks if necessary, but remember to allow six weeks between application and re-planting.
